| Meet up of the St Bees School athletics team of the late 60s…

Bruce Murdoch, Darryl 'Daz' Davies and David 'Horsey' Hughes.

“Brucey was a great athlete and rugby player winning the Victor Ludorum at the school sports. Horsey could both sprint and run cross country. He was the best long distance runner in the school. Daz was a hurdler and cross country runner and was captain of athletics and cross country.

Horsey and Daz meet up regularly so it was great that Brucey could join us. After coffee in the Windermere Jetty Museum, lunch was taken at the Hole in’t Wall in Bowness. A great catch up for the three at Bowness-on-Windermere.”
